Melony G. Griffith is a former Maryland State Senator and Delegate who served Prince George’s County for over two decades, including as Chair of the Senate Finance Committee. Throughout her career, she championed policies to strengthen Maryland’s economy and creative industries, including her leadership in advancing the Maryland Film Tax Incentive.

As a founding member of Revolutionary VP, Griffith brings her deep public service experience and policy expertise to help shape and reinvigorate Maryland’s film culture, ensuring the state remains competitive in the rapidly evolving production landscape.
